The following are the statistics and snap counts for all BYU alumni who played in the NFL this week:

Kyle Van Noy, LB, New England Patriots.  Van Noy started and had five total tackles (three solo) and half a sack in New England’s win. He played 66 snaps on defense (92%) and eight snaps on special teams (28%).  Season Totals: 24 solo tackles, eight assisted tackles, 1.5 sacks.

Daniel Sorensen, S, Kansas City Chiefs. Started and had four solo tackles, two assisted tackles and one half sack in Kansas City’s victory over Houston. He played 63 snaps on defense (98%) and eight more on special teams (25%). Season Totals: 19 solo tackles, four assisted tackles, one half sack, one pass defended.

Ezekiel Ansah, DE, Detroit Lions.  Ansah started and had two tackles, including a sack in Detroit’s lost to Carolina.  He played 35 defensive snaps (53%).  Season Totals: 12 solo tackles, four sacks, one forced fumble.

Michael Davis, CB, Los Angeles Chargers.  Had one tackle in the Chargers win.  He played four snaps on defense and 27 snaps on special teams.  Season Totals: Three solo tackles, one assisted tackle.

Jamaal Williams, RB, Green Bay Packers.  Williams had one rush for one yard in Green Bay’s victory over the Cowboys.  He played just two snaps on offense (3%) and 12 on special teams (44%).  Season Totals: Six rushes for 22 yards, one reception for five yards.

Kai Nacua, DB, Cleveland Browns. Recorded no stats against New York, playing six snaps on special teams (29%). Season Totals: No stats

John Denney, LS, Miami Dolphins.  Played in 12 special team plays (39%) as long snapper and recorded no stats.  Season Totals: No stats.

Inactive Players

  • Bronson Kaufusi, DE, Baltimore Ravens. Kaufusi was inactive in Week 5 (still nursing injury).  Season Totals: One solo tackle in one game played.
  • Jordan Leslie, WR, Cleveland Browns. Leslie was not active this week.  Season Totals: one reception for 26 yards.
  • Harvey Langi, ILB, New England Patriots. Langi was not active this week.  Season Totals: One solo tackle
  • Taysom Hill, QB, New Orleans Saints. Hill was not active this week.  Season Totals: No stats.
