BYU Commit: Campbell Barrington (OT/DT)

June 15, 2016 Tyler Christensen Football 0

Campbell Barrington is a 6-foot-6 280 pound offensive tackle and defensive end committed in June 2016 to play for the BYU football team (Class of 2018).

Two great days at BYU camp. Decided to wear the blue. Committed to the Cougars today!Looking forward to playing with my big brother again.?

Barrington preps at Univeristy High School (WA), where he has spent time at right tackle opposite his brother Clark at left tackle.  He also plays on the defensive line and is the starting center on University’s basketball team.  He sat out his junior season with a foot injury.

Barrington is rated 3-stars by Scout, Rivals, and ESPN (grade of 76), and holds offers from Arizona, BYU, and Eastern Washington.  He has received recruiting interest from Oregon, Purdue, Stanford, UCLA, Utah, Washington, and Washington State. Barrington comes from an athletic family.  His older brother Clark will join the BYU football team this fall, while his father Shawn played baseball at the University of Arizona.  That’s where he met Campbell’s mother Jacque, who was on the basketball team. Barrington is LDS and is reportedly leaning towards serving an LDS mission.
