Lone Peak safety Ammon Hannemann commits to BYU (Class of 2017)

Ammon Hannemann is a 6-foot-2 190 pound safety who was offered a scholarship to play for the BYU football team yesterday and committed on the spot (Class of 2017).

hannemann_ammon_150pxHannemann preps at Lone Peak High School (UT), where he played in one game as a sophomore and started at safety as a junior, recording 48 total tackles.  Hannemann also competes for Lone Peak’s track and field team in the 100m, 200m, 400m, javelin, and long jump.  Hannemann has not yet been rated by Scout, Rivals, or ESPN, and BYU is his first scholarship offer.
