BYU and Michigan offer sophomore sensation Solomon Tuliaupupu (Class of 2018)

Solomon Tuliaupupu is a 6’3” 220 pound middle linebacker/tight end from Claremont, California who was offered scholarships from BYU and Michigan on Wednesday (Class of 2018).

tuliaupupu_solomon_150pxTuliaupupu preps at Claremont High School, where he started in 2014 as a freshman and recorded 70 tackles (41 solo), 10.0 tackles for loss, a pass deflection, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovered for a touchdown. As a sophomore last season he had 140 total tackles (83 solo), 6.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, four quarterback hurries, a pass deflection, and a safety and was named to the All-Area second team.  Tuliaupupu is not yet rated by Rivals, Scout, or ESPN.  Tuliaupupu already holds scholarship offers from BYU, Michigan, and Washington and is being recruited by Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Oregon State, UNLV, and USC.
