Issac Freytes is a 6-foot-1, 198 pound safety/wide receiver who was offered a scholarship to play for the BYU football team on Monday (Class of 2017).

Freytes preps at Antioch High School (CA), where he is the teammate of fellow BYU recruit Najee Harris. As a junior Freytes had 12 receptions for 200 yards (16.7 ave) and two touchdowns in eight games. He also had eleven tackles (9 solo) and a pass deflection. He was selected to the 2016 U.S. Under-18 National Team as a wide receiver. In addition to football Freytes has a 3.50 GPA and competes in the 100m, 200m, and 400m relay for the track team.
Freytes is rated 2-stars by Scout and has not yet rated by Rivals or ESPN. BYU is his first scholarship offer (offered 5/23/16), but he is also being recruited by Cal Poly, Montana, Northern Arizona, San Diego State, and UNLV.
