Future Cougs in High School Football: Week 12

While most of the Class of 2016 Cougar commits have completed their seasons, there were four commits that saw significant football action this weekend.  Keenan Pili, Keaton Torre, and Jackson McChesney each played significant roles for their teams in the Utah semifinal games.  Torre had a rough time in his first start at QB in over two months and his Bingham Miners fell to Jackson McChesney’s Lone Peak Knights.  McChesney was the hero of that game with two touchdown grabs of 63 and 72 yards, helping his team to advance to the 5A title game. Keenan Pili was also dominant with 10 tackles and 0.5 sack as Timpview shut down Highland to advance to the 4A title game.   California and South Carolina playoffs begin this week as Utah closes out their season.  Here’s a run down of the season statistics for all of BYU’s Class of 2016 and 2017 commitments.
