As a freshman (Class of 2019) the 6’3” 250 pound Alatini had already generated some national buzz as a member of Team Utah and as top 10 selection in the previous year’s National middle school draft. At Orem High School (UT) he had three tackles and a sack as well as a couple carries as running back. Following the season he played in the Brett Cooper All-America game where he was named the defensive MVP.
Alatini is rated 4-stars by Scout and Rivals, and has not yet been rated by ESPN. BYU was his first scholarship offers but he has since received offers from Arizona, Oregon State, and Utah and seen recruiting interest from Auburn and Utah State.
