With BYU’s coaching staff still being pieced together it is surprising how much moving and shaking has happened recently on the recruiting trail. In case you missed it, BYU’s new regime started by pulling a couple scholarship offers (Torre, Taulapapa), and then proceeded to start handing offers back out like candy. Here is a short summary of the offers extended in the last week (in order of class).
Isaiah Nacua (Class of 2014)
First up is Isaiah Nacua, who was previously committed to BYU but went down to Snow College for one year. Now it’s confirmed that he’s back and will be a RS freshman in 2016. Nacua is the brother of Kai but their skill set is miles apart. Isaiah is a 6’3”, 250 pound defensive lineman who was recruited by Arizona State, BYU, Duke, Fresno State, SJSU, Utah, and Washington out of High School. He was rated 3-stars by Rivals and Scout, and 4-stars by ESPN who had him as the No. 3 overall prospect from Utah and No. 28 DE recruit nationally. He helped lead Bishop Gorman (NV) to a state championship as a junior in 2012 (59 tackles, 8.5 sacks), and Timpview (UT) to a state championship in 2013 (71 tackles, 8.5 sacks). Nacua was named to the Nevada All-State first team in 2012 (Las Vegas Review Journal), and the 2013 4A All-State first team (Deseret News, Salt Lake Tribune, USA Today).

Sione is a current Oregon State commit, but his recruitment by Ilaisa Tuiaki may sway him over to the Cougars. He is a 5’10” 170 pound running back from Kearns (UT) High School who is rated 2-stars by Rivals and ESPN, and 3-stars by Scout. He has offers to BYU, Oregon State, Nevada, Southern Utah, Utah State, Weber State, and Wyoming. He has also been recruited by Missouri, Northern Arizona, and Utah.
Chris Wilcox (Class of 2016)

Chris Wilcox is a 6’2” 170 pound Corona (CA) Roosevelt High School safety who was offered a scholarship to play defensive back at BYU by new Coach Ed Lamb. He’s a speedster (10.95 in the 100m) but is not yet rated by Rivals or ESPN, and has 2-stars from Scout. He has offers to Southern Utah and UC-Davis, with interest shown by Arizona State, Cal, and USC.
Wayne Kirby (Class of 2016)
Wayne Kirby, the 3-star Defensive Tackle from Idaho who de-committed from BYU in the Fall, still has an offer on the table and has listed BYU as one of his final three (with Utah and Washington State). He has an official visit scheduled to Provo on January 29th.
Tennessee Pututau (Class of 2018)

Tennesse is a 6’1” 220 pound DE/TE from Cottonwood with offers from Colorado, Oregon State, and Utah. He is cousin to BYU recruits Fua Pututau (Class of 2016), and Taniela Putuau (Class of 2017). Pututau is not yet rated on Rivals, Scout, or ESPN.
Kendall Milton (Class of 2020)

Finally, there’s Kendall Milton, who is only in the 8th grade. He is a 6’0” 183 running back/safety for USA Football in Indianapolis (IN) who runs a 4.7 forty and has pretty impressive highlights for a kid who isn’t even in High school yet.
