BYU Football: Pro Tracker, NFL Week 8

Week eight was a super quiet one for BYU alumni in the NFL and CFL. All 2015 pro stats for former Cougs are outlined below.

Stat Lines (alphabetical)

• Ziggy Ansah (DE, Detroit Lions, 3^rd season). Ansah recorded four tackles and a sack in Sunday’s loss to Kansas City.  Season Stats (8 games): 24 tackles (20 solo, 4 assists), 7.0 sacks, 2 FF, 1 FR, 3 TFL.
• John Denney (LS, Miami Dolphins, 11^th season). Denney recorded no stats in Miami’s loss to the Patriots.
• Alani Fua (LB, Arizona Cardinals, UDFA rookie). Fua recorded no statistics in Arizona’s win over Cleveland.  Season Stats (8 games): 3 solo tackles
• Dennis Pitta (TE, Baltimore Ravens, 6^th season). Pitta is currently on the injured list (hip) and did not play in Baltimore’s victory over the Chargers.
• Dallas Reynolds (G, New York Giants, 4^th season). Recorded no statistics in New York’s loss to the Saints.
• Daniel Sorensen (DB, Kansas City Chiefs, 2^nd season). Sorensen recorded one solo tackle in Kansas City’s victory over the Lions. Season stats (8 games): 3 solo tackles.
• Uani (Devin) Unga (LB, New York Giants, 2^nd season). Unga came back from injury to record three solo and two assisted tackles In New York’s win over the Saints.  Season stats (7 games): 47 tackles (34 SOLO, 13 AST), 2 TFL (STF), 4 PD, 2 FF, 2 INT.
• Kyle Van Noy (LB, Detroit Lions, 2^nd season).  KVN recorded no statistics in Detroit’s loss to the Chiefs. Season stats (8 games): 3 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, one sack.

• De’Ondre Wesley (OT, Baltimore Ravens, rookie season).
• Hebron Fangupo (DL, Kansas City Chiefs, 3rd season… played for Seattle and Pittsburgh).
• Rob Daniel (CB, Green Bay Packers, rookie season).
• Paul Lasike (RB, Chicago Bears, rookie season).

Players in the Canadian Football League (CFL)

• John Beck (QB, BC Lions, 2nd season). Is currently on injured list and announced he will retire from playing football at the conclusion of this season. Season stats: 50-79 (.633) passing for 498 yards, four TDs, and four INTs.  3 carries for 32 yards.  QB rating of 76.9.
• Austin Collie (WR, BC Lions, 1st season).  Season stats: 41 receptions for 430 yards (10.5 ave.) and seven TDs; 1-1 passing for 21 yards and one touchdown; one tackle.
• Cody Hoffman (WR, Montreal Alouettes, 1st season). Season stats: four receptions for 59 yards (14.8 ave.) and one TD.
• Quinn Lawlor (OL, Montreal Alouettes, 1st season).
