Recruiting Profile: QB Zach Wilson (Class of 2018)

Zach Wilson became the newest signee to the BYU football program when he announced his commitment and signed with the Cougars last night.

Wilson preps at Corner Canyon High School, where he completed 170-of-297 passes for 2976 yards and 24 touchdowns (to just eight interceptions) as a senior, while rushing 121 times for 719 yards and eight more scores.  In his prep career he totaled 432-of-704 passes (.614) for 6691 yards and 54 touchdowns to 19 interceptions, and rushed 234 times for 1152 yards and eleven touchdowns.  He is also a starter on the basketball team.

Wilson is rated 3-stars by Rivals, Scout/247sports, and ESPN (grade of 77). He held scholarship offers from Boise State (where he was previously committed), Cal, Fresno State, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon State, Rice, Syracuse, UNLV, Utah State, and Weber State.
