I caught up with Allgeier to ask him about his recruitment:
BYU Insider: Why did you choose BYU?
Allegeier: I chose BYU not only because of the football program but for the academic program that they offer. I would like to further my education to be a better man and provider not only for my family but the community as well.
BYU Insider: What are some of your greatest accomplishments?
Allegeier: Being a student athlete and keeping a GPA above 3.0, as well as being the all-time leading rusher at Kaiser and breaking multiple school records, which would not have been accomplished without the help of my brothers (team).
BYU Insider: Who is a current player (collegiate or pro) that you seek to emulate on the field?
Allegeier: Adrian Peterson (RB, Arizona Cardinals)
