
Tredyn Christensen may be the final piece of the 2022 BYU basketball puzzle. Today he announced his commitment to play for BYU basketball, as reported by Robby McCombs on Vanquish the Foe:

Christensen is a 6-foot-6 225-pound guard/forward that spent last season at Chaminade (Honolulu, Hawaii), and the previous two seasons at Snow College (Ephraim, Utah). For Chaminade he started 12 of his 26 games and averaged 5.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 22.5 minutes per game.
At Snow he averaged 11.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists as a sophomore and 9.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists as a freshman (SnowBadgers.com).
Christensen prepped at Westlake High School (Saratoga Springs, Utah), where as a senior he averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists per game and made the All-State first team (MaxPreps, Deseret News).
Christensen will join BYU this fall as a walk-on.
