Recruiting Profile: Seth Willis (OL, Class of 2017)

Seth Willis is a 6-foot-6 315 pound offensive lineman who is committed to play for the BYU football team (Class of 2017).

;

Willis prepped at Newtown High School (CT), where he played on both the offensive and defensive lines.  He was such a valuable part of the team that his high school coach Steve George called him “the most underrated player in Connecticut.”  He was named to the All-Conference second team at left tackle, was a team captain, and a member of the 1000 pound club.   He also threw (put) the shot put for the track and field team.

Willis was rated 2-stars by Scout, and was note rated by Rivals or ESPN.  He was also ranked the No. 9 offensive lineman in Connecticut by MaxPreps. He held scholarship offers from FCS programs Bucknell, Bryant, CCSU, Deleware State, Fordham, Holy Cross, Stetson; and saw some recruiting interest from Maryland and Utah State. Willis is LDS but his mission plans are not yet known.
