
Michael Daley is a 6-foot-3 225-pound linebacker for Brigham Young University, recruited as part of the Class of 2019.

High School. Daley prepped at Lone Peak High School (Alpine, Utah), where he as a senior he had 77 tackles (50 solo), with 40.5 tackles for loss, 24.5 sacks, six quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles with one returned for a touchdown, and four blocked punts (MaxPreps).
Daley was a state champion his senior season and was named the Deseret News 6A defensive MVP for the state of Utah. He was also a first-team All-Region selection in 2017 and 2018. HUDL shows that out of high school he was already running a 4.65 forty, with a 34-inch vertical leap, a 335-pound bench press and 475-pound squat.
Recruitment. Daley was rated 3-stars by 247Sports (0.8282), who rated him the no. 10 overall prospect from Utah for the Class of 2019. Daley held scholarship offers from Air Force, BYU, and UNLV, with interest from Princeton, Rice, TCU, UCLA, Utah State, and Yale. Daley signed with BYU on December 19, 2018.
