
Masen Wake is a 6-foot-1 260-pound fullback and tight end for Brigham Young University, recruited as part of the Class of 2019.
BYU summary: In three seasons at BYU (roster years 2019-2021), Wake has played in 35 games with 12 starts. He has 10 carries for 22 yards and two touchdowns, and 16 receptions for 233 yards and one touchdown (BYUcougars.com).
- 2022 (Junior).
- 2021 (Sophomore). Played in 11 games (four starts) and had 14 receptions for 148 yards and a touchdown, and two rushes for one yard.
- 2020 (COVID Sophomore). Played in 12 games (six starts) and had five rushes for 16 yards and two touchdowns, and eight receptions for 114 yards and one touchdown
- 2019 (Freshman). Played in 12 games (two starts) and had three carries for six yards
High School. Wake prepped at Lone Peak High School (Cedar Hills, Utah), where as a senior he rushed 174 times for 1263 yards and nine touchdowns, caught 19 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns, and had nine tackles (four solo), with one tackle for loss, one quarterback hurry, one sack, and one forced fumble (MaxPreps). Wake was named to the Utah 6A All-State first-team.
Recruitment. Wake was not rated by 247Sports and joined BYU as a preferred walk-on. He enrolled on July 1, 2019.
