BYU Football New Commit Profile: CB/QB Luc Andrada (Class of 2019)

Luc Andrada is a 5-foot-11 180 pound quarterback who recently signed to play football for BYU (Class of 2019).

Andrada preps at Pueblo East High School (Pueblo, CO), where as a senior he completed 203-of-353 passes (.575) for 3135 yards and 33 touchdowns against 7 interceptions.   He also rushed 131 times for 886 yards (6.8 avg.) and 16 more scores, and caught a 48 yard touchdown pass.  In track Andrada won the 4A state title in the 100 meters (10.66) and placed second in the 200 (21.41)

As a junior (2017) Andrada went 112-215 through the air for 1587 yards and 16 touchdowns (16 INTs) and rushed 70 times for 464 yards and 10 scores.  As a sophomore (2016) he completed 111-of-205 passes for 1853 yards and 13 touchdowns (6 INTs) and rushed 61 times for 336 yards and 7 touchdowns.  He led his team to a 3A state title. In his three years as a starter Andrada threw for 6576 yards and 62 touchdowns and rushed for 1671 yards and 33 TDs.
