Getting to know BYU commit, 3-star OLB Liutai Kinikini (Class of 2022)

Liutai Kinikini is a BYU football commit for the Class of 2022, making a verbal commitment on April 16, 2021. 

Kinikini is a 6-3 200 pound linebacker that preps at West High School (Salt Lake City, Utah).  As a junior he had one rush for 10 yards, one reception for 39 yards and a touchdown, four tackles (two solo), and a pass defended (MaxPreps).

Kinikini is rated 3-stars by 247Sports, who rate him as the no. 19 overall recruit from Utah in the Class of 2022. He holds scholarship offers from BYU and Weber State.  Kinikini plans to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
