BYU Football Recruit: Kieffer Longson (Class of 2015)

Longson_Kieffer1Kieffer Longson is a Class of 2015 BYU football recruit who turned down offers from returning national champions Ohio State, as well as national powerhouses Florida State (’14 National champs), Missouri, and UCLA to play for the Cougars. He committed to BYU on December 15, 2014. Longson prepped at Dougherty Valley High School, where he played on both the offensive and defensive lines. He also played for the Dougherty Valley Lacrosse team.

Longson was rated the No. 34 offensive tackle in the nation and given 4-stars by Scout and 3-stars by Rivals and ESPN (grade of 79). He was offered scholarships to ASU, BYU, Colorado, Florida State, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio State, SJSU, UCLA, USU, Utah, and WSU. He was also recruited by Boise state, Cal, Mississippi State, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, USC, Vanderbilt, Washington, and Wisconsin. After graduating High School Longson left June 3, 2015 on an LDS mission to Toronto, Canada. He expects to join the team for the 2017 season.
