Keanu Hill: WR #1, Class of 2019

Keanu Hill is a 6-foot-4 215-pound wide receiver for Brigham Young University, recruited as part of the Class of 2019.

BYU summary: In three seasons at BYU (roster years 2019-2022), Hill has played in 24 games (one start), with 25 receptions for 453 yards and three touchdowns, with one 10 yard punt return, and one solo tackle (BYUcougars.com).

High School. Hill prepped at Trinity High School (Bedford, Texas), where he had 68 receptions for 1112 yards and eight touchdowns in two seasons (MaxPreps).  Was named All-District in 2017 and 2018 and was Trinity receiver of the year in 2017.

Recruitment. Hill was rated 3-stars by 247Sports (0.7990), who rated him the no. 351 overall prospect from Texas in the Class of 2019.  He held scholarship offers from BYU and Wyoming with recruiting interest from Texas Tech. Hill committed to BYU on October 2, 2018, signed on December 19, 2018, and enrolled on July 1, 2019.

Personal. Hill’s father was an All-American at Texas Tech and played for the Chicago Bears.  His uncle Roy Williams played for the Dallas Cowboys.
