Jordan Leslie gets his First NFL Reception

After bouncing around the NFL on various practice squads for the last two seasons, Jordan Leslie has finally made a 53 man roster and was thrown his first regular season NFL pass today.  And boy did he ever take advantage of that opportunity.

Leslie had a solid collegiate career, playing four seasons for UTEP before joining the BYU squad as a graduate transfer.  During the 2014 season at BYU he started all 13 games and recorded 55 receptions for 779 yards and six touchdowns.  At BYU he was known for his leaping ability and spectacular grabs similar to the own he had this week for the Browns.  He was the consummate play-maker.  However, despite his collegiate success, he went undrafted in the 2015 NFL draft.  He has played on the practice squads for four different teams since then but couldn’t seem to crack the 53-man roster… at least not until the Browns added him to theirs last week.  So Leslie got his chance and by the looks of things he’s making the most of it.

Below is a look at Leslie’s NFL timeline.
