BYU gets a verbal commitment from speedy TX receiver Jaren Mitchell (Class of 2018)

Jaren Mitchell became the 13 commitment for the BYU football class of 2018 when he announced his verbal commitment this afternoon on Twitter:

Mitchell preps at Hebron High School (Carrollton, Texas), where as a junior he had 65 receptions for 970 yards and nine touchdowns. He also carried the ball three times for 17 yards and another score.

Mitchell is rated 2-stars by Rivals and is not yet rated by Scout or ESPN. He holds scholarship offers from BYU, Central Arkansas, Colorado State, Liberty, Stephen F. Austin, and Utah State.
