3-Star DE/OT Lisala Tai Commits to BYU (Class of 2016)

3-star Tongan defensive end/offensive tackle Lisala Tai committed to play for the BYU football team (Class of 2016) on January 19, 2016.

Tai preps at Hawthorne High School, where he played both ways on the gridiron. He also plays for the Hawthorne basketball team where he is currently averaging 6.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.

Tai is rated 3-stars (grade of 74) by ESPN, and 2-stars by Rivals and Scout. He has scholarship offers from BYU and San Diego State and was also recruited by Arizona State, Ball State, Fresno State, Oregon State, Penn State, and UCLA.
