Just hours before national letter of intent day, Lehi’s star outside linebacker Lincoln Bunker shared his commitment to play for the Cougars as part of the Class of 2018.

Bunker preps at Lehi High School (Lehi, Utah), where he does a little bit of everything. As a senior he rushed six times for 30 yards and a touchdown, had 49 tackles (32 solo), with 10.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, seven passes defended, a forced fumble, and three interceptions. He was named a 5A All-State honorable mention at outside linebacker by the Deseret News. As a junior he rushed for four touchdowns and caught for another, had three fumble recoveries and handled nine kickoffs, 21 punts, and went 36-for-44 on PATs.
Bunker has a scholarship offer from Dixie State and has seen recruiting interest from Southern Utah, Washington State, Weber State, and Utah State.

BYU Insider: Why did you choose BYU?
Bunker: BYU made me feel so welcomed and loved. Really made me feel like I needed to be there. And growing up in Utah you always dream of playing for the Cougs.
BYU Insider: What are some of your favorites?
Bunker: Florida Georgia Line, Finding Nemo
BYU Insider: What is your greatest accomplishment in sports?
Bunker: Winning a state championship.
BYU Insider: Anything else you want Cougarfans to know?
Bunker: Just that I can’t wait to be a Coug and rep that Y after serving a two-year mission for the LDS Church.
