Josh Larsen is the most recent commitment to the BYU football program (Class of 2020), announcing his commitment today via Twitter:

Larsen preps at Woods Cross High School, where as a junior he carried the ball 10 times for 32 yards, had 12 tackles (six solo) and one pass defended in five games.  As a sophomore he had 71 tackles (43 solo), one tackle for loss, one quarterback hurry, one pass defended, one fumble recovery, and one forced fumble.  He’s also kicked some PATs and plays on the basketball team.

Larsen:  I chose BYU because it’s a great school and my family has been going there. I look forward to just being out there in front of everyone, never had the opportunity to play in such a big stadium.

BYU Insider: What other schools were showing you love in the recruiting process?

Larsen:  Utah, Utah State and Weber State

BYU Insider: What is one of your greatest accomplishment in sports?

Larsen:  When I was a sophomore we upset Timpview in the first round of the playoffs

BYU Insider: Who is a current player that you seek to emulate on the field?

Larsen:  Clay Mathews—he’s nasty!
