Demetrius Davis is a 6’4” 275 pound offensive line commit for the BYU football team (Class of 2015). He is projected as #3 right guard for the 2015 season.
Davis prepped at Pleasant Grove High School, where he was a three-year starter on an offensive line that averaged 327 total yards per game. As a senior he was named to the Deseret News Region 4 All-Region second team, the Deseret News all-state first team, and the Salt Lake Tribune Coaches’ All-State first team. He was also an accomplished wrestler, finishing 4th in the 5A 285-pound weight class as a senior.
Davis was rated 2-stars by Scout and was not rated by Rivals or ESPN. He was recruited by Air Force, Boise State, Northern Arizona, Southern Utah, Utah, and Utah State. He committed to the Cougars on February 2, 2015.
