Hannemann prepped at Lone Peak High School (UT), where he played in one game as a sophomore and started at safety as a junior, recording 48 total tackles. Hannemann also competes for Lone Peak’s track and field team in the 100m, 200m, 400m, javelin, and long jump.
Hannemann was rated 3-stars by Scout, 2-stars by Rivals, and was not rated by ESPN. BYU was his only scholarship offer but he also saw interest from Utah State.
