Ethan Erickson: TE #97, Class of 2019

Ethan Erickson is a 6-foot-5 225-pound tight end for Brigham Young University, recruited as part of the Class of 2019.

BYU summary: In Ericksons first seasons at BYU (roster year 2021), he redshirted and was a member of the scout team (BYUcougars.com).

High School. Erickson prepped at Kahuku (Laie, Hawaii), where he played tight end and punter. (MaxPreps).  He was selected as a 2018 Polynesian Bowl All-Star and won a state title on the Kahuku basketball team in 2017.

Recruitment. Erickson was rated 3-stars by 247Sports (0.8091), who rated him the no. 23 overall recruit from Hawaii in the Class of 2019 and the no. 95 tight end recruit nationally.  He held scholarship offers from BYU, Navy, and Utah State, and saw recruiting interest from Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Kansas State, UCLA, and Weber State.
