Getting to know incoming BYU football signee, 3-star OL Elia Migao (Class of 2021)

Elia Migao is a BYU football signee for the Class of 2021, signing with the Cougs on December 16, 2020.

Migao is a 6-foot-3 320 pound offensive lineman that prepped at Chaparral High School (Temecula, Caliofornia).  As a senior Migao was named to the All-State team for the second consecutive year, was the Southwestern League Lineman of the Year, a CIF Southern Section D4 honoree, and was invited to the Polynesian Bowl.

Migao is rated 3-stars by Rivals, ESPN, and 247Sports (0.8601), who rate him the no. 53 interior offensive lineman nationally. He received scholarship offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Colorado State, Michigan State, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, Oregon State, Sacramento State, San Diego State, UNLV, Utah State, and Washington State (247sports and Rivals).  He also saw recruiting interest from San Jose State and USC.

Migao’s brother Enoka is also a 2021 BYU signee. Both brothers have considered serving missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints but plan to play in 2021 before making that decision.
