BYU offers freshman DE/OLB Drake Jackson just ahead of the University of Utah (Class of 2019)

Corona (CA) freshman linebacker Drake Jackson made an unofficial visit with Alonzo Davis to Provo last week and received a BYU scholarship offer on Friday (Class of 2019).  That offer was quickly followed by an offer from the University of Utah the next day.

Jackson has not yet been rated by Rivals, Scout, or ESPN, and the scholarship offers from BYU and Utah are his first.  After receiving the BYU offer Jackson told Talo Steves of Total Blue Sports:

“This was the best day of my life.”
