Recruiting Profile: Charles “Chika” Ebunoha (Class of 2022)

Chika Ebunoha is the most recent commitment to the BYU football program (Class of 2022), showing his commitment status via his private Instagram page:

Ebunoha is a 6-foot-0 175 pound wide receiver and defensive back that preps at Marana High School (Tucson, Arizona), where as a senior he had 28 receptions for 481 yards (17.2 avg) and eight touchdowns, one rush for three yards, 34 tackles (21 solo), three tackles for loss, two passes defended, one forced fumble, and one sack (MaxPreps).

Ebunoha has clocked a 4.42 forty time and has a 43-inch vertical. In track he has competed in the 100 meter, 200 meter, 110 meter hurdles, javelin, long jump, and triple jump, and well as the 4×100 and 4×400 relays (Athletic.net).

Ebunoha was recruited as a defensive back for the Cougs.
