
Caleb Christensen is a 5-foot-10 195-pound defensive back for Brigham Young University, recruited as part of the Class of 2019.
BYU summary: In two seasons at BYU (roster years 2020-2021), Christensen has returned 20 kickoffs for 399 yards and has six tackles (two solo) and an interception (BYUcougars.com).
- 2022 (Sophomore).
- 2021 (Freshman). Played in eight games, returning four kickoffs 70 yards (17.5 avg) with one assisted tackle
- 2020 (COVID Freshman). Played in 12 games (one start), returning 16 kickoffs for 329 yards (20.6 avg), and recording five tackles (two solo) and an six-yard interception.
High School. Christensen prepped at Sky View High School (Smithfield, Utah), where he returned four kickoffs for touchdowns (MaxPreps). He had MCL surgery as a senior, but as he junior he had 41 tackles (40 solo) with three tackles for loss, one sack, three passes defended, two fumble recoveries, and five interceptions. In track and field he ran an 10.92 100-meter, 22.61 200-meter, and 23-1 to win the state title in the long jump (Athletic.net).
Recruitment. Christensen was rated 3-stars by 247Sports (0.8227), rated as the no. 16 overall prospect from Utah in the Class of 2019. He held scholarship offers from Dixie State and Southern Utah. Christensen committed to BYU on December 12, 2018.
