
Between the Arizona FanFest, several national and regional camps and showcases, and campus tours in Provo, BYU football had a very busy weekend. Most notably was the Desert Pines high school (Las Vegas, NV) college tour that rolled through Provo. Scholarships were offered to several players, including Darnell Washington (TE/DE), Cameron Wiley (RB), Preston Williams (WR/CB), Beau Taylor (OG/T), Greg Oliver III (CB), and Raleek Brown.
Darnell Washington (Class of 2020) is a tight end and defensive end for Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV). The 6’7″ 245 pound sophomore runs a 4.69 forty and has a 32.5 inch vertical. He already has scholarship offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, BYU, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oregon, Southern Utah, USC, Utah, Utah State, and Vanderbilt.

Cameron Wiley (Class of 2019) is the running back for Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV). The 3-star back has scholarship offers from Arizona, BYU, Kansas, Minnesota, Oregon, Southern Utah, UNLV, and Utah.

Preston Williams (Class of 2019) is a wide receiver and cornerback from Desert Pines. BYU is his first offer.

Beau Taylor (Class of 2019) is a 6’4″ 282 pound guard and tackle for Desert Pines. He has scholarship offers from Air Force, Army, Boise State, BYU, Colorado State, Indiana, Nevada, SDSU, Tulane, UNLV, Utah State, and Western Kentucky.

Greg Oliver III (Class of 2019) is a cornerback that attends Faith Lutheran in Las Vegas. He is seeing interest from Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, and USC and BYU is his first offer.

Raleek Brown (Class of 2022) received an offer from BYU back in January, the first for the 8th grader. He was in town with his team for a campus visit as well.
