Texan All-District Tackle Brock Gunderson commits to play Football at BYU (Class of 2019)

Last night BYU football got its newest verbal commit for the Class of 2019, as offensive lineman Brock Gunderson made his intentions known via twitter.

Gunderson is a 6-foot-4, 265 offensive tackle that preps at Cypress Woods High School (Cypress, Texas) where he also plays on the basketball team.  As a sophomore he was named to the UIL All-District 17-6A second team as well as the academic first-team for football and basketball.  As a junior he was named to the All-District first-team.

Gunderson is rated 3-stars by 247 Sports, and is 2-stars by Rivals. He holds scholarship offers from Air Force, Army, New Mexico, North Texas, Purdue, UNLV, USU, and UTEP.  Gunderson has plans to serve an LDS mission following high school and will join the Cougars in 2021.
