Ben Bergeson is a 5’10” 180 pound cornerback BYU football commit who prepped at Highland High School (Class of 2014) and played a year of JUCO ball at Snow College. He has been given a preferred walk-on spot for the 2015 season.

bergeson_ben_por1Bergeson prepped at Highland High School, where as a junior he had 34 tackles, one interception, a couple carries and a catch. As a senior Bergeson had 38 tackles and six interceptions, as well as 18 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns. He was named to the Region 6 first-team, the Deseret News 4A all-state second team, and the Salt Lake Tribune 4A all-state first-team.  He also played basketball and ran track for Highland.

Bergeson was not rated by Rivals, Scout, or ESPN. He played on scholarship at Snow College in 2014 and then accepted a preferred walk-on spot at BYU for 2015. His father Eric played defensive back for BYU in the late 1980s.
