BYU Basketball Commit: Zac Seljaas (Class of 2015)

seljaas_zac_espnpicSeljaas is a small forward from Bountiful, Utah. He led his team to back to back state titles (2013, 14), being named to the 1st team all-state and leading the team in scoring his senior season with 26.9 points per game. He owns the Bountiful High School records for made 3-pointers, games played, wins, made free throws and total points. He is second all-time in rebounds, blocks, assists and steals.

While Seljaas was a super early commit to the Cougars (resulting in a relatively low scholarship offer list), he’s still generating plenty of attention. He was recruited by BYU, San Francisco, Utah, and Utah State.  His father (Gary Seljaas) played for BYU-Hawaii and his sister (Nancy) played for BYU, so he is familiar with the program and seems like a pretty solid commit. Plans to play in 2015-16 season and then may serve LDS mission.Class of 2015
