Bell is a 5-foot-9 186 pound running back that prepped at Corner Canyon High School (Draper, Utah). His senior season was cut short due to injuries, but in two games he had 14 carries for 143 yards (10.2 avg) and four touchdowns (MaxPreps). As a junior he had 130 rushes for 1148 yards and 21 touchdowns and 20 receptions for 311 yards and four more scores. He was named the 6A Region 4 running back MVP and to the All-State first team.
As a sophomore Bell rushed 116 times for 864 yards and eight touchdowns, caught 26 passes for 438 yards and five touchdowns, and had 41 tackles (29 solo), one tackle for loss, seven passes defended, one forced fumble, and two interceptions, including one returned 99 yards for a touchdown. His HUDL profile shows a 4.5 forty time, 365 bench press, 34.5 inch vertical, and 435 pound squat.
Bell is rated 3-stars (80) by 247Sports, who rate him as the no. 38 overall prospect from Utah in the class of 2021. He has seen recruiting interest from Utah, with scholarship offers from Air Force, Army, Navy, Northern Arizona, Utah State, and Yale. He will join the Cougs in 2021 as a preferred walkon.
