Ammon Hannemann is a 6-foot-1 200-pound defensive back for Brigham Young University, recruited as part of the Class of 2017.

  • 2019 (Redshirt). Played in one game, recording one solo tackle
  • 2017-2018 (LDS Mission). Roseville, California

High School. Hannemann prepped at Lone Peak (American Fork, Utah), where in two seasons he had 117 tackles (68 solo), with two tackles for loss, six passes defended, one fumble recovery, two forced fumbles, and four interceptions, with one returned for a touchdown (MaxPreps).

Recruitment. Hannemann was rated 3-stars by 247Sports (0.8113), who rated him the no. 20 overall prospect from Utah for the Class of 2017.  Hannemann committed to BYU on June 14, 2016 and enrolled on July 1, 2019.
