BYU offers WR/CB Alonzo Davis (Class of 2017)

BYU offered wide receiver/cornerback Alonzo “LJ” Davis (Class of 2017) his first scholarship during an unofficial visit on Friday (4/15/16).

Davis is a 6-foot-2 168-pound WR/CB that preps at Gahr High School in Cerritos, CA.  As a junior he had 41 catches for 716 yards (17.5 ave) and 10 touchdowns, 34 tackles, four interceptions, and 12 pass break ups.  He is flying under-the-radar, and BYU is Davis’s first scholarship offer.  He has not yet been rated by Rivals, Scout, or ESPN.
