
Aisea Moa recently committed to playing for the BYU football program (Class of 2022), announcing his commitment October 9th via Twitter:

Moa is a 6-foot-3 245 pound defensive end and tight end that preps at Weber High School (Pleasant View, Utah). So far this season he has seven carries for 22 yards and four touchdowns, one reception for 10 yards, 48 tackles (23 solo), eight tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, one forced fumble, and a 26 yard interception (MaxPreps).
As a junior (2020) Moa had seven receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown, 24 tackles (12 solo), with eight tackles for loss, and five sacks. As a sophomore (2019) he had two receptions for 21 yards, 23 tackles (14 solo), four tackles for loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble. As a freshman (2018) he had four receptions for 28 yards and a touchdown, with three tackles (one solo).
Moa is rated 4-stars by Rivals and 247Sports (0.9000), who rate him the no. 4 overall prospect from the state of Utah for the class of 2022. He was previously committed to Utah and received scholarship offers from BYU, Colorado State, Oregon State, Utah, and Utah State. Â He was also being recruited by Miami and Stanford. His father Ben was a tight end for the University of Utah and his uncle Carlos Nuno played tight end for BYU in the late 1990s.
