There are 35 additions to the BYU football program from the Class of 2021.  That includes 16 scholarship players from the high school and JUCO ranks, 10 preferred walk-ons, and 9 transfers from other programs.

247 Sports ranks the BYU Class of 2021 as the no. 77 class nationally with an average recruit rank of 0.8378.  Current status updated August 2022.

  • Enoka Migao (Chaparral HS; CA). 3-star defensive end (0.8519). Signed with BYU December 2020 but then transferred to Utah State with his brother.
  • Weston Jones (Romeo HS; MI). 3-star offensive tackle (0.8489). Serving LDS mission?
  • Bentley Redden (San Clemente HS; CA). 3-star athlete (0.8444). Serving an LDS mission in Tokyo Japan.  Will join the Cougs in the 2023 season.
  • Dylan Rollins (Sentinel HS, MT). 3-star offensive tackle (0.8418). Redshirted and was a member of scout team in 2021. Currently serving an LDS mission in Tacoma, Washington.
  • Isaiah Glasker (Bingham HS; SLC, UT). 3-star athlete (0.8301). Joined team mid-year (January 2022) after serving LDS mission to Uruguay. Is currently a Freshman.
  • Nathan Hoke (North Allegheny; PA). 3-star linebacker (0.8281). Currently serving an LDS mission in Bahia Blanca, Argentina.
  • Kyson Hall (Maple Mountain HS; Springville, UT). 3-star wide receiver (0.8248).  Has returned from serving an LDS mission and is a Freshman on the BYU team.
  • Dallin Havea (Provo HS; Provo, UT). 3-star athlete (0.8227). Currently serving an LDS mission.
  • Sione Hingano (Chandler HS; AZ). 3-star offensive tackle (0.8227). Currently serving an LDS mission.
  • Jovesa Damuni (Ridgeline HS, UT). 3-star cornerback (0.8150). Currently serving an LDS mission in Santiago, Chile.
  • Ricky Wolfgramm (East HS, UT). 3-star linebacker (0.8128).
  • Quenton Rice (Faith Lutheran HS; NV). 3-star wide receiver (0.7970). Was a member of scout team as a redshirt in 2021, entering freshman season.

BYU has ten preferred walk-on commitments for the class of 2021:  Seven from Utah, one from California, one from Florida, and one from Idaho.
